Hello my health freaks..welcome back to my blog!!
As you guys may or may not know.. I am currently on my path to a healthy and fit lifestyle. I’ve always wanted to do this, but something or the other kept getting in the way. But I am glad that this year in 2018, I made a firm decision to change my habits and 4 months in.. I am still doing it!
It does take a lot of determination and self-control, especially when it comes to one’s diet. And for me, this is one of the hardest things to do, since I have a big big sweet tooth. (FUN FACT: when I was a kid, my favorite snack was SUGAR.. yes.. I used to eat spoonfuls of sugar..of course without letting my mom know) So, yeah.. I’ve made a lot of changes to my diet, I’ve brought discipline to my eating habits and my overall way of living.
I’ve never shared my progress or what I am doing on my fitness journey, but, today I want to share with you how I lost 6.8 pounds and 1% body fat in 1 month. Definitely, changing my food habits and working out daily has been a great factor in my progress, but one thing that I am doing along with all this has also aided my weight loss.
My FAT-CUTTER drink!!
To make this, you need only 4 things – cilantro (coriander), lemon, cinnamon and water. You first want to make a nice paste using cilantro. I usually like to make a paste of about 2 bunches of cilantro and store it in the fridge, so it’s ready for me every morning. Next, you want to add the juice of about 1/2 a lemon and add about 1 tbsp of the cilantro paste to some luke warm water and cinnamon. Go easy on the cinnamon because this can mess with your digestion.
I drink this drink in the morning, before anything else goes in my tummy. That’s the best time to have this. Also, you wanna wait for about 30 mins before you have anything else. Also, this might taste disgusting at first, so you will have to develop some taste.
But trust me, this drink has really worked well for me. Like I said, even though, it’s a result of my diet change and other habits, I truly believe this has been a big part too. Sorry for a little TMI, but my digestion had always been kind of messed up, but this has solved that problem as well.

Daily Dose of Happiness…
- This weekend was a great combination of work and relaxation. And I can’t believe I got so much done. I shot 3 videos for my Youtube channel, finished meal prep, relaxed for a good part of sunday and watched like 3 movies.
- I watched 3 movies – Blockers, A Quite Place and Tinkerbell over the weekend.. all 3 really good movies. Absolutely loved AQP.. very different and I don’t think it was actually a horror movie. Highly recommend!
- I’ve been making these awesome protein pancakes for weekend breakfasts, shall be sharing a recipe soon 🙂
